Another advantage of hiring our mixers is these tow behind or portable machines can access areas of your site in Thurrock that a ready mix truck may find difficult.
We have Forward/Reverse Plate Compactors, Trench Compactors, Medium Duty Compactor Plates, Extra Heavy-Duty Compactor Plates and Power Floats. Reversible Plates are ideal for compaction of paving stones, trenches, landscaping and maintenance. As with all of our hire tools and equipment they are designed with high performance and ease of use in mind. Single lever control and an integrated wheel set gives this machine excellent manoeuvrability. Our Trench Compacters provide backfill compaction for trenches and we have a range of sizes available. These are just a few examples of the time and money saving equipment we can supply.
Thurrock Council have commissioned the construction of an academy in Tilbury, Essex. The new Olive Academy is a single story, steel framed structure which will contain 13 classrooms, staff offices, WC’s and a gym and dining hall. The £3.9m academy will be built on a brown field site and is due to be completed in 2017. It’s always exciting to see these projects take shape from the laying of the first small pieces of foundation to the final coat of paint.
There are also plans in the mix [excuse the pun] for an ambitious regeneration of Purfleet in Essex, again funded by Thurrock Council. This ambitious project features a £1bn, 2,500 home regeneration and will incorporate a new school and remodelled railway station along with other major landscape enhancements. The development will also feature a 600,000 sq ft media village including a purpose built film and TV studio complex. This type of new media centre project has not been seen in the UK for 50 years.
