Digging force
These machines have a superior digging force when needed, thanks to a well balanced arm and bucket.
Auto-shift
Depending on the terrain and traction effort, these diggers ensure automatic travel shift from high to low. This makes them exceptionally easy to manoeuvre and guarantees fast results.
Auxiliary circuit adjustable maximum oil flow
The maximum oil flow rate on Kubota mini diggers, may be adjusted via a simple switch as opposed to the need for tools. This gives heightened control when using front attachments like hydraulic hammers, tilt buckets and brush cutters.
Cabin and canopy
The cabin and canopy design offers the ultimate in operator safety, not least with the Roll-over Protection Structure (ROPS) and Falling Object Protection Structure (FOPS).
Powerful driving force
The travel motor has a strong driving force, and can be turned without issue for smooth levelling and backfilling.
Reliable and stable machines
Kubota’s excavators have a second to none level of machine stability, for efficient and safe operation.
Based in Leomington Spa for over 8 decades, Thwaites have taken the industry by storm with their high performance dumpers. They have developed their manufacturing processes over the years, and have reached cutting edge status. Their machines are produced using state of the art plasma cutters and robotic welders. Materials are utilised fully and any wastage is recycled. They carry out the whole process of production of a 6 tonne dumper in-house, with the assembly taking 15 man hours.
The components of a Thwaites dumper are tested at every stage, and assembly of each machine is the responsibility of just one skilled operative. Such care and attention to detail is demanded throughout the process, that the end product is at the very top of its class. Thwaites have resisted the temptation to branch out into other areas, opting instead to use their expertise to perfect their products.
These dumpers come with a Level 2 ROPS and FOPS structure for control and safety, and 360º vision is enabled by the addition of a camera on some models. Small features like 3 steps up into the cab rather than 2, along with grab rails boost user confidence. Thwaites continue to develop cabbed options which provide heating and ventilation. Demand for this type of plant is growing, not least thanks to the expansion of the housebuilding sector.
