We’ve got a mini excavator that can suit the needs of every customer. Take the example of our 0.8 tonnes mini digger from respected brand Kubota: the piece of plant is a small and neat excavator which works very well in areas which are usually hard to access. It also comes with a decent torque, too, and it has a digging depth of 1,720mm – which is great given its small size.
Our full range of diggers is broad and diverse. For those construction or civil engineering professionals who need something a little more powerful for their work, the Kubota KX030-4 is a smart move. It comes with a great range of performance statistics, including a width of 1,500mm and a height of 2,420mm. And it also has an ergonomic design, too, to help ensure that your staff remain safe and healthy while using it.
And if you’re planning to work with waste, meanwhile, grapples are perfect – especially if your waste has been created from a material like timber. Again, these grapples are suitable for diggers in the one ton to eight tonnes range – so just get in touch if you’d like to know more.
As a busy part of the capital, North London is often affected by roadworks and other major renovation projects. But for those who live near the Highbury Corner roundabout in Islington, recent roadworks have shown signs of coming to an end.
The works, which affected the famous traffic interchange just outside London Underground’s Highbury and Islington station, aimed to create a pedestrianised zone close to the roundabout’s western edge while also creating safe conditions for two-way traffic. And it’s also becoming more friendly for cyclists, too, with a committed and demarcated cycle zone set to be created.
And while the full scope of the works will not be completed until later in 2019, it was recently announced that the roundabout would reopen to traffic – in both directions. While there may be some problems for motorists, such as an inability to turn off Upper Street into Canonbury Road, it is likely that the overall improvements will be useful to all road users. And when the new pedestrian zone is launched later in the year, the environmental benefits will also become increasingly clear for people to see.
