Mini Diggers are available from Rhinos Plant Hire, with a range of buckets and attachments. With names like Kubota and Hyundai amongst our extensive fleet, you can be sure of quality and performance. Cabs are designed for operator comfort, and safety and security are also priorities.
Diggers from Rhinos are a breeze to manoeuvre, producing less noise than their larger siblings, meaning no complaints in quiet neighbourhoods. This allows them to be employed in built up, residential areas. They are lighter too, so there is less likelihood of causing damage to ground surfaces. Mini Diggers are a lot less hassle to transport thanks to their compact size, and there is no requirement for a special transport permit.
Many businesses, especially start ups feel that hiring is extremely cost effective, as there is no immediate need to make huge investments in machinery. You also often get the latest model when you hire, and a good hire company will keep their machines in tip top condition. Our excavator sizes range from 0.8, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 5 and 8.0, to 14 tonne and a selection of attachments are available. Mini Digger attachments include buckets, grapples, pulverisers and augers.
In addition to these ground breaking products, they can be used with sweeper collector brushes, grapple buckets and pallet forks. These give exceptional loading and levelling action when dealing with uneven or large objects or smaller amounts of debris.
Ipswich could receive ‘city status’ if the Ipswich Vision Partnership between Suffolk County Council and Ipswich Borough Council has anything to do with it! Supporters of the move which could be applied for in 2020, claim it could bring significant investment to the area. The ambitious bid is on a list which pinpoints 17 priorities for the town, despite being unsuccessful in similar bids in 1992, 2000 and 2002. Nearby Chelmsford beat 22 other towns, and was given city status in 2012, due to factors like having a Cathedral, a University and a very busy railway station.
The possible bid for Ipswich has a controversial edge, as there are as many against the idea as there are for it. Facebook comments on the subject include “Ipswich should be a city with ambition for the future; a growing metropolis and city status may help to secure some of the investment which is now needed.” Many other comments said things like “Ipswich doesn’t have a cathedral” so “how can it be classed as a city?” Time will tell!
